Requirements
Governor's School delegates must be:
- Rising high school seniors (class of 2010)
- Designated as Gifted by their school district
- Students who excel academically, especially in math and science
- Students who are deeply interested in space science and technology
- Florida residents

A total of eighteen delegates will be selected for the 2009 Summer Academy.
